A bit of sewing recently too...

Figured out a pattern for a "cocoon" wrap/cardigan, and made one in the 65cm boy size (should also fit slim Dollshes like old Hounds, Bermanns, and Rythmos bodies):

It can be pretty glammy, or just plain cozy.

I'm currently working on two more in a nice stripey cotton-blend-spandex stretch fabric.  One will be for my guys, and one will go on Etsy.  Pics, once I'm finished - almost!  I just need to clean up the seam-ends, and iron the pieces.

But, here's a small update on the dollie front:

Charlie (Infiniti Doll SID Alex head) was finally sold.

He hung on for a long time, but once I started to re-haul my crew, I really prioritized my favourites.  He was never really supposed to stay...  Now, Allastair is using his SID body, like he was supposed to in the first place.

This was my very first time ordering directly from Dollshe, or even owning a Dollshe doll.  I ordered before Dollshe even released photos of the updated Bermann heads...  A bit of a risk, and these new heads did turn out a little different from the originals.  Still, they are very beautiful, and worth the money.  I'm glad I didn't spend thousands of $$ on a Bermann, second-hand.  Always knew that Dollshe would do a re-release...

Pipos Jr PI Robin - little fox.  I saw him on Yahoo!Japan, and got him as a birthday gift to myself in April.  Beautiful dollie, in great shape! :)

Nari - Oasisdoll Naomi head - currently shares/borrows the Guu Doll body, belonging to Lucy.

Supia Naomi (un-named) head - also sharing the Guu Doll girl body

Doll in Mind Persia head - I've had this head since fall of 2007, and still haven't figured out what to do with it.  I can't get rid of it, because I love the sculpt.

Newest addition!  Arrived last week!  Luts Delf Ann - full doll, currently un-named.  Ordered her from Denver Doll Emporium, as she was in stock.  Her faceup was not as described though, so DDE gave me a refund.  I haven't figured her out at all yet, partly because of the unexpected faceup.  I feel bad about having to wipe it, because it has very orange eyebrows.  But, I'll have to...  And, I really didn't want to have to paint this doll this time...  I just wanted a doll that was closer to complete.
This girl needs better colour eyes too.  I do like the way the ED 16mm fit in her, but need to find a colour I like better.

I've also added one more Azone cutie to the mix.  She's an Azone PureNeemo XS Erio Towa.  Very well-made little doll.  Wonderful posing range, and great quality material.

A year's worth of updates?

No! That would take too long...
I couldn't quite believe that it's been almost a full year since I did post here.  wow...

I will do an update on my dollies though, just to show who's left in my collection:

This is the new Peregrin!  I finally sold his old Delf NaNuRi06 version some months ago, and this new dude arrived on Tues Sept 27, 2016.

This doll is a Volks Cristal (Oneoff Model) head I found on Y!J, on one of my Infiniti Doll SID boy bodies (the 2010), with a pair of Dollstown 15 boy hands (2012).

I like him a lot so far, but he also needs stuff like new eyes, and maybe a Volks SDGr or SD17 body.

This cute lot is my bunch of Volks girls.

I love all three of them.  The Guu Doll body was a bit of a chance I took, after seeing a couple of reviews on DoA and on YouTube.  It's a surprisingly nice body, for being such a cheap one.

This is the new Marion!

She is an Astral In Rainbow Ruy head (NS) on a Luts Delf type I girl body (sm bust).

I keep going on and on about this gorgeous head!  And, about how cheap it was to buy, second-hand, but in brand new condition on the DoA marketplace.  I just can't get over it!  She's so beautiful!

Marion's been hanging around with this fellow, what was my Feeple65 Lora girl, has now been turned into a boy (by stealing a body of course!).

So far, I've named him "Paisley"...  Need to work out his story, I suppose.

O'Carollan is still around (Luts Delf Breakaway 2008).  He went up for sale some years ago, but I couldn't let him go.  So, he's around, but gets to work out a new interaction with the new version of Peregrin. :P

Peach (left, Pipos Ringo) and Marbles (right, Fairyland Pukifee Zoe) are still around, because they are oh so cute and hilarious!  I have trouble imagining my collection without them. <3

I got this tiny Azone Picco Neemo "Lil' Fairy" Lipu dollie back in Feb 2016.  She's super cute!

This is the very cute Fairyland Juri 2014 (Elf Soony, on Feeple60 Moe body) I got in 2014.  I ordered her a a fullset Celine, and the Juri head was the gift.  Ended up keeping the head and body.  She's called Lilly.  :)

I got this lovely old Delf Soony (2005) in the fall of 2014 as well.  She was a very lucky find on EBay.  Her name is Leilane.

This lovely boy is still around, but Paisley (above, Lora head) has stolen his body. :P

Allastair (Luts SSDF Regen head on Infiniti Doll SID body) is still around too.  Although, at the moment, the new Peregrin (above) has borrowed his body.  He may actually get Charlie's body (same type)...

Charlie (left, Infiniti Doll SID Alex).  I haven't done anything with him in a long time.  I'm considering selling the Alex head.  I may pick up a Switch Milhwa head instead...

The girl on the right is a Belldandy I owned for a short time.  I sold the head, and got the Volks Tae, and the Volks SD16 Megu heads...

And, Soleil (Delf Miyu) is still around too.

I've sold quite a number of dolls over the past couple of years...  And, a few are up on the marketplace now too.  It's quite a turnover, but I feel like I'm in the process of focusing my aesthetic preferences....  Not all dolls continue to inspired me, after they arrive.  Sometimes, it's enough to have owned them for a short time.

Progress...

Made progress with the dress I started last Tuesday...

I'm rather pleased with the way this is turning out...  It's certainly very special and unique.

Trying to decide what to do next...  Add accessories?  Headdress? Armlets? Necklace?

Also, thinking of posting this to Etsy...  Not sure what price-range...

And now it's time for bed...
