Progress...

Made progress with the dress I started last Tuesday...

I'm rather pleased with the way this is turning out...  It's certainly very special and unique.

Trying to decide what to do next...  Add accessories?  Headdress? Armlets? Necklace?

Also, thinking of posting this to Etsy...  Not sure what price-range...

Today's attempt at a faceup:

Made an attempt at painting - actual painting, with a brush.  Made a mess of it though. :P

The head has been wiped, and is now waiting for my next attempt.

I'll probably go with pencils next, 'cause my painting hand, arm and shoulder are just too achey to keep up fine line-work.  D:

I really NEED to get down to sewing more Minifee-sized stuff...

She's clean - default faceup is gone.
Her pretty ED eyes have arrived...

Now, she just needs to be re-painted.

I'm waiting for some rain-free weather.

I've had this type I Delf girl body sitting around for a while (since Feb 2013).  I've tried it with the neck-mech and my old Juri '07 B head.  Didn't really work for mobility though.

Recently, I spotted this DES head on Ebay for a fairly reasonable price, bid on it, and bought it.

The DES head arrived today - came with Luts paperwork, and old Luts faceup, that's scuffed in a couple of spots.

I'll be repainting it soon. :)

Oh, and the "pants" are an experiment with that fabric, and the new blade on my serger.  The blade's great - getting much smoother edges now.

The fabric's a bit of a nightmare. D:  I had to iron the ruffles down, and they kept wanting to roll up again.  Don't think I'll do much with it.
